Famine in Haïti
The famine threatens more than 8.5 million people in Haiti, in rural and urban areas of Haiti, thousands of children live in a lamentable state and in the region of the South of Haiti, particularly in Jeremie the peasants of that country Region only eat leaves of bitter grass not to starve. QFCHE teams are present in rural and urban areas of Haiti and are working closely with the needs of rural and urban populations to respond to emergencies and prevent them. Aid that includes access to education, health, drinking water, life-saving action for the victims of Hurricane Matthew and the vast majority of the population lives in malnutrition.
